School Bus in Crash on West Manning Avenue, Calaveras Avenue in Fresno

FRESNO, Calif., (June 29, 2026) — A major injury crash involving a school bus and a black sedan was reported in Fresno early Monday morning at West Manning Avenue and South Calaveras Avenue.

The incident occurred on June 29th at approximately 7:01 a.m., as detailed by the California Highway Patrol (CHP). Details about the exact sequence of events leading to the crash are still under investigation. However, the intersection is controlled by a stop sign for traffic entering Manning Avenue for motorists from S. Calaveras Avenue.

Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene shortly after the collision, with the first unit arriving at the scene by 7:24 a.m. A rotation tow service was also requested to clear the vehicles involved. At 7:48 a.m., the incident was officially classified as a major injury collision by the CHP.
