Major Injury Collision on Highway 254 Wednesday
Scotia, CA (June 16, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a car accident that occurred on State Route 254, also known as Avenue of Giants.
On Wednesday, at approximately 9:50 a.m., a vehicle rolled over in the 4544 block of the highway in Scotia. The make and model of the car involved in the wreck remained undisclosed.
Responding emergency crews found at least one person trapped in the wreckage. When firefighters arrived at the site, they worked extensively to free the victim.

Paramedics immediately checked the condition of the person after the successful extrication. According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, the victim sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Additional details on the wreck have not been revealed thus far. Detectives reportedly stayed in the area the whole morning to investigate exactly how and why the car accident in Scotia happened.
