Sean Slade Suspect in Car vs. Bicycle Accident on Camino San Rafael
Glendale, CA (December 30, 2020) – Police arrested 27-year-old Sean Slade, of Los Angeles, in relation to a hit-and-run collision that occurred on Camino San Rafael.
The KLTA News reported a Slade first stole a vehicle from a resident in the 400 block of West Lexington Drive. The incident took place on December 18, Friday, at about 7 a.m.
Shortly after, officers received a report of a hit-and-run crash in the 2100 block of Camino San Rafael. Following an investigation, authorities determined Slade, while driving the stolen vehicle, struck a bicycle rider on Camino San Rafael.
Bicyclist Hospitalized After Hit-and-Run Crash in Glendale, December 18
Our sources confirmed the collision resulted in multiple injuries to the bicyclist. According to the news article, first responders found the cyclist thrown onto the street. An ambulance rushed the injured party to a hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, local police reportedly found the suspect near the 2500 block of Flintridge Drive. Officers arrested Slade on suspicion of vehicle theft, felony hit-and-run, and driving without a license.
Further investigation on the case is underway.
