Rear-end Crash Involving Two Pickup Trucks in Monterey Bay Area

MONTEREY COUNTY, Calif. (April 22, 2025) — A minor injury Seaside crash on southbound Cabrillo Highway 1 happened Tuesday morning, just north of Fremont Boulevard in Monterey County.

A driver in a grey Chevrolet pickup truck reportedly rear-ended a white Ford F-150 pickup truck around 10 a.m. on April 22nd, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch log.

CHP officials reported the Monterey County Fire Department responded to help those injured in the crash, but fortunately, there were no life-threatening injuries.

The collision occurred in the slow lane of State Route 1 amid unknown traffic conditions. Tow trucks removed the grey pickup truck due to front-end damage from the accident and the white pickup due to rear-end damage.
