Vehicle Strikes, Kills Woman on Highway 116 Wednesday
Sebastopol, CA (November 3, 2021) – A deadly pedestrian accident occurred on Highway 116 Wednesday, the KRON4 News reported.
Our sources indicated a Volvo was traveling west on the highway in Sebastopol. In the area near Old Gravenstein Highway, the car struck a woman trying to cross the road.
The horrible crash took place shortly after 2:50 p.m.

When medical personnel arrived at the location, they immediately rendered aid to the pedestrian found lying on the ground. Paramedics reportedly performed life-saving measures to the woman, but she sadly succumbed to her injuries and eventually died. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
No immediate information was discussed on the driver of the Volvo.
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole afternoon to investigate the precise cause of the deadly pedestrian accident on Highway 116 in Sebastopol.
