Woman, 66, Seriously Injured in Sebastopol Crash at Main Street and Bodega Avenue
SEBASTOPOL (September 19, 2019) – A pedestrian was seriously injured after a traffic accident in the area of Main Street and Bodega Avenue Wednesday.
Sebastopol Fire Department said a 66-year-old woman was crossing Main Street when she was struck for an unknown reason by a small box truck.
The box truck was traveling west on Bodega when it turned left at the intersection and hit the woman. She was walking in a crosswalk at the time.

According to reports by The Press Democrat and Sonoma West, the victim was found conscious but suffering from a serious head injury as a result of the crash.
Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and rushed the pedestrian to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital for treatment.
Her name and condition at the moment were not immediately released. Meanwhile, officials did not specify if the operator of the truck stopped after hitting the woman.
Authorities are still investigating what exactly caused the September 18 incident.
