2 Men Hit and Injured by Vehicle on Highway 116 Tuesday
Sebastopol, CA (October 16, 2021) – Two men suffered injuries following pedestrian accident that occurred on Highway 116 on October 12, Tuesday.
The Argus Courier News reported a 61-year-old man from Sonoma; and a 56-year-old man from Sebastopol were removing a large tree from property along Highway 116. Officials said the tree fell into the road and blocked both lanes in a dark area with no street lights.
According to the article published online, a passing Mercedes accidentally struck the two men. The horrible crash took place in the 2600 block of Highway 116 in Sebastopol.

Emergency crews arrived at the location shortly after 7:30 p.m. Paramedics found both men with serious injuries. An ambulance reportedly rushed the patient to Providence Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital for treatment.
Additional details on the collision have not been discussed thus far. At this time, detectives continue to investigate several factors surrounding the pedestrian accident in Sebastopol.
