Man Fatally Struck by Vehicle at Foothill Boulevard and Sultana Avenue
Fontana, CA (August 27, 2022) – Seferino Crispin, 64-year-old man, died following a suspected hit-and-run collision that occurred in the area of Foothill Boulevard and Sultana Avenue.
The Fontana Herald News reported Crispin attempted to cross the intersection. While in the middle of the roadway, an oncoming westbound car struck the man. The horrible crash took place on August 25, Thursday.
Shortly after 8:09 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. Responding paramedics immediately rendered aid to the injured pedestrian. According to the article published online, the San Bernardino County Fire/Medics rushed the victim to a local hospital. Sadly, the patient succumbed to his injuries and passed away. The San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner’s Division identified the deceased as Seferino Crispin, of Fontana.
Meanwhile, officers confirmed the driver involved in the unfortunate event fled the scene. Detectives handling the case continue to gather information to identify and locate the hit-and-run suspect. Further investigation on the case is ongoing.
