Fiery 2-Vehicle Crash Friday Morning
SELMA (December 21, 2018)- According to the California Highway Patrol, a fiery 2-car accident took place this morning at the crossroads of Nebraska and Clovis avenues.
At around 8:55 a.m., CHP were dispatched to the crash site involving an alleged gray Ford Expedition and a silver Volkswagen sedan.
Following the collision, the Ford Explorer caught fire while the second vehicle came to rest overturned near an orchard.
The fire department was notified as they hastily arrived to assist with extinguishing the flames of the car fire.
Fortunately, all parties were able to escape the erupted vehicle but were unable to escape injury as at least two parties were eventually transported to a local area hospital.
No details were provided in regards to the cause of the accident itself as authorities remained present at the scene as of 9:46 a.m.
