Woman Hit and Killed by Vehicle on Rose Avenue Wednesday
Selma, CA (August 25, 2021) – A deadly pedestrian accident occurred Wednesday morning on Rose Avenue, the ABC30 News reported.
Officials said a vehicle struck a female party within the eastbound lane of Rose Avenue, just east of Amber Avenue. Our sources indicated the motorist was traveling at approximately 55 mph and failed to see the pedestrian on the road.
Fatal Pedestrian Accident in Selma, August 25
The collision resulted in life-threatening injuries to the pedestrian. Shortly after 12:30 a.m., paramedics arrived and sadly pronounced the female party dead. The name of the deceased remained undisclosed, but authorities described her as a 58-year-old woman.
Meanwhile, the driver reportedly stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation process. Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to work at this time to determine liability in the deadly pedestrian accident in Selma.
