SELMA (July 11, 2016)- According to the Fresno Bee, a major injury car crash took place Sunday evening at the intersection of Academy and Rose avenues.
At precisely 8:04 p.m., a big rig headed southbound along Academy Avenue collided with a Chevy Silverado which failed to stop at a stop sign.
A total of four occupants were inside the Silverado all who suffered injuries varying between moderate to major. One injured victim was flown to Community Regional Medical Center while the other two were taken by ambulance.
Per the Fresno Bee, the big rig driver did not sustain any injuries and did not require medical attention.
Police officials have ruled out the possibility of drugs or alcohol playing a contributing role.
