Motorcyclist Critically Injured in Highway 99 Crash in Selma Area
SELMA, Calif. (May 18, 2021) — A Selma motorcycle crash on Highway 99 left the rider critically injured late Monday night near the Second Avenue exit.
Also, the California Highway Patrol (CHP) reported the male rider got hit by a vehicle on Hwy. 99.
The crash happened on the south side of the highway, police said. The driver in a silver Nissan Maxima sedan rear-ended the motorcyclist due to unknown reasons.

The motorcyclist was thrown from the bike and subsequently, at least three other cars ran over the bike, according to Fox26 News.
Police closed down the highway for roughly 20 minutes until the arrival of the ambulance. Next, medical workers transported the motorcyclist to the hospital with major injuries.
Additionally, the CHP did not release the names of either driver to the public.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the Highway 99 motorcycle crash.
