1 Seriously Injured in Selma Crash on Southbound Highway 99 at Highway 43

SELMA, CA (October 6, 2021) – At least one was seriously injured after a crash on Highway 99 and Highway 43 transition in Selma.

The California Highway Patrol said the accident took place on Wednesday night. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck at about 8:34 p.m.

A white big rig, a white colored truck and a silver sedan collided for an unknown reason in Selma. The three crashed on southbound Highway 99 at the Highway 43 transition ramp.

Multiple Vehicles Collide

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found one person who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.

Medical personnel then rushed the patient to a hospital for treatment. Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.

Meanwhile, CHP forced both lanes of Highway 99 to shut down at Highway 43 following the wreck. The cause of the Selma crash is still under investigation.
