Major Injury Crash on 47th Avenue in Lemon Hills
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (April 15, 2022) — A semi-truck and car accident on 47th Avenue happened Friday in the Lemon Hills area of Sacramento.
The collision occurred on the eastbound side of 47th Ave about 11:37 a.m. on April 15th, near the intersection with 47th Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A semi-truck driver and a white Nissan collided due to unknown circumstances. The smaller vehicle wound up underneath the red semi-truck’s flatbed and the truck had heavy, front-end damage. Paramedics responded and transported at least one person with major injuries to Kaiser, but there are no further details.
Meanwhile, it’s unknown what led up to the traffic accident.
Tow trucks responded to the scene to remove both of the damaged vehicles.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the Lemon Hills accident.
