CHP Reports One Injured in Truck Accident
MORENO VALLEY, Calif. (Feb. 23, 2024) — The drivers of a big rig truck and a car were involved in a crash on the westbound 60 Freeway at the Day Street off-ramp in Moreno Valley.
The two-vehicle crash occurred in the slow lane at around 6:44 a.m. on Feb. 23rd, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported a white Hyundai Sonata and a semi-truck were involved. At least one person around 30 to 35 years old from the car sustained injuries. CAL Fire Riverside responded with paramedics who transported the injured person by ambulance to Riverside County Regional Medical Center for further treatment.
Meanwhile, the car was not drivable and was towed from the freeway.
Finally, the CHP is heading up the traffic investigation to determine fault for the crash on the Moreno Valley 60 Freeway.
