Two-Vehicle Crash Involving Major Injuries in Tulare

TULARE, Calif., (Sept. 4, 2026) — A major injury crash involving a semi-truck and car occurred Friday at Avenue 232 (Tulare Avenue) and Road 68 in Tulare.

The incident, reported at approximately 2:28 p.m. on Sept. 4th, involved a white Honda sedan and a large semi-truck at the intersection, according to the California Highway Patrol. It’s unknown what led up to the collision, but traffic on Avenue 232 does not have a stop sign, and Road 68 does have a stop sign.

Emergency responders swiftly arrived at the scene, where the collision had taken place on the westbound side of Avenue 232 near Road 68.

Paramedics transported the driver of the white Honda sedan to Kaweah Delta Health Care District (KDH) for treatment of potentially major injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol. The extent of injuries sustained by other parties involved remains undisclosed at this time.

Authorities have confirmed that the semi-truck had private assistance responding to the scene. The crash remains under active investigation by the California Highway Patrol, who are seeking any witnesses to provide further information regarding the circumstances surrounding the accident.
