Big Rig Truck, Car Collide on Harbor (110) Freeway
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Jan. 20, 2022) — A crash on the Harbor (110) Freeway between a truck and a car happened Thursday near Lomita Boulevard in Los Angeles.
The collision happened about 8:02 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 20th, according to a dispatch report by the California Highway Patrol.
CHP dispatchers report the semi-truck and a Honda Civic were blocking the middle lanes of the southbound 110 Freeway.
They requested the Los Angeles Fire Department respond to the scene to help those injured.
Other vehicles involved included a second semi-truck and four other vehicles, police said. Authorities did not mention what led up to the multi-vehicle crash.
It’s unknown at this time if there are any serious injuries from the wreck.
Meanwhile, tow trucks arrived at the crash scene on the Harbor (110) Freeway to remove the damaged vehicles.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the Los Angeles crash.
