Multi-Vehicle Crash on US 395 in San Bernardino County
SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY, Calif. (Jan. 17, 2024) — A head-on crash involving a semi-truck and two cars happened Wednesday morning on the southbound Highway 395, just south of Randsburg in San Bernardino County.
The multi-vehicle collision occurred on US 395 near Cuddeback Road at around 6:17 a.m. on Jan. 17th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported a driver in a white Honda Accord allegedly veered into the path of a yellow semi-truck and crashed head-on. The car reportedly overturned onto its roof and a red Tesla Model X was also involved or hit by a vehicle.
The Kern County Fire Department responded to help at least one person with minor injuries, but there are no further details.
Tow trucks removed both the Tesla and the Honda from the roadway.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the crash on US 395 Highway near Randsburg.
