4-Vehicle Collision on US Highway 50 in Sacramento
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (July 2, 2024) — A semi-truck and three other vehicles were involved in a crash on US Highway 50 and 15th Street in Sacramento.
The traffic accident occurred on US 50 near the off ramp at around 9:35 a.m. on July 2nd, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The Sacramento Fire Department responded and located a few people trapped in their vehicles. Also, they transported at least two people who were injured to hospitals.
It’s unknown what led up to the multi-vehicle crash involving the semi-truck. Three cars were involved and the vehicles blocked the slow lanes and the fast lane, the report said.
Tow trucks are removing the semi-truck and at least two other vehicles from the highway.
The case remains under investigation.
