Semi-Truck Crash at 210 and 605 Freeway Interchange in Los Angeles
Multi-Vehicle Crash Involving Overturned SUV at I-210/605 Interchange
LOS ANGELES COUNTY, Calif. (Jan. 13, 2026) — A multi-vehicle collision involving a big rig and several passenger vehicles happened Tuesday morning at the westbound Interstate 210 Freeway to the southbound Interstate 605 connector.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred just after 8:06 a.m. and initially involved up to five vehicles. CHP logs indicate a dark blue Subaru Impreza, a tan Lexus, a Tesla, a Scion, and a semi-truck were among the vehicles involved. At least one vehicle — identified as a Lexus SUV — overturned and came to rest blocking multiple lanes.
The collision blocked the HOV lane as well as the No. 1, No. 2, and No. 3 lanes, prompting Los Angeles County Fire Department crews to respond and temporarily shut down lanes while assisting at the scene. Fire personnel were reported blocking lanes during emergency operations.
One Subaru Impreza sustained moderate right rear-end damage and required a flatbed tow. CHP requested multiple tow services due to the number of disabled vehicles, including one for the overturned vehicle. No information on injuries was immediately released, and the incident was initially classified as a traffic collision with emergency units en route.
Traffic through the busy interchange was heavily impacted during the morning commute as responders worked to clear debris and remove damaged vehicles. Motorists were advised to expect delays and consider alternate routes while cleanup operations continued.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
