Big Rig Truck, Pickup in Crash on Nuevo Road
NUEVO, Calif. (Sept. 30, 2022) — A crash involving a pickup truck and a semi-truck happened Friday morning on Nuevo Road and Pico Avenue in Nuevo.
The collision occurred about 5:57 a.m. on Sept. 30th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the two vehicles collided and the pickup truck overturned and suffered major damage. Both the pickup and the semi-truck went over the side of the roadway.
A Riverside County Fire Department unit happened to come upon the scene to help those hurt in the crash. They transported at least one person to Riverside University Health System Medical Center with undisclosed minor injuries.
Two tow trucks came to remove the pickup and semi-truck from the crash scene.
Also, investigators are working on the case to determine fault.
