Minor Injury 2-Vehicle Crash on Rice Avenue in Oxnard
OXNARD, Calif. (Sept. 1, 2022) — A semi=trailer and pickup truck crashed at Rice Avenue and Camino Del Sol in Oxnard on Wednesday evening in the Oxnard area.
The crash was reported shortly before 5:30 p.m. on August 31st, according to Oxnard Police Department.
Also, a report by the Ventura County Fire Department stated two people were hurt, but there are no serious injuries from the two-vehicle collision.
However, the pickup truck sustained significant damage on its passenger side. Fortunately, there were no passengers in the vehicle at the time of the crash.
The pickup truck driver also suffered minor injuries from the collision.
Meanwhile, the semi-tractor trailer truck was also badly damaged and wound up crashing through some bushes into a nearby parking lot. The back wheels of the truck came to a stop on the sidewalk. The driver of this truck was treated for minor injuries.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the Oxnard crash.
