Man Injured in Fresno Traffic Accident
FRESNO, Calif. (April 9, 2024) – A man was injured in a crash involving a semi-truck at Chestnut Avenue and North Avenue in Fresno County,
The traffic accident occurred just after 8 p.m. on Monday, April 8th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Police responded to a traffic collision at the Fresno County intersection after a truck heading westbound on North Avenue collided with a northbound Nissan SUV on Chestnut Avenue. The SUV became pinned between the truck and a pole.
Paramedics responded and rushed the man in his 50s who was driving the SUV to a local hospital with non-life-threatening moderate injuries. Meanwhile, the man in his 30s driving the truck was not hurt.
Investigators do not know if alcohol or drugs were a factor in the Fresno crash on Chestnut Avenue, but the investigation is ongoing and liability will be determined.
