Serenity Fitzgerald Injured in Paradise Hit-and-run; Henry Lavigne Arrested
PARADISE, Butte County (December 8, 2017) – 21-year-old Serenity Fitzgerald was injured in a traffic collision at the intersection of Skyway and Neal Road Friday evening, according to KRCR.
At approximately 6:10 p.m., Fitzgerald was driving a Honda in the intersection and was reportedly struck by a pickup truck that did not stop after the crash.
Responding emergency crews arrived at the intersection and found Fitzgerald suffering in injuries. As per the article, Fitzgerald was rushed to a local hospital where he was listed in stable condition.
Shortly after the accident, officials mentioned that they were able to locate the involved pickup. Furthermore, police arrested the 63-year-old driver Henry Lavigne for charges of felony DUI and hit-and-run.
