Bicyclist Hit by Car Killed in Crash
SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (August 1, 2023) — Sergio Chi Medina, 68, of Highland, died Friday in a bicycle accident at East Bay Line Street in San Bernardino.
The traffic accident occurred around 8:25 p.m. on Friday, July 28th, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.
Sheriff’s deputies responded to the 25000 block of East Base Line Street in San Bernardino for a bicyclist struck by a vehicle.
The 68-year-old man riding a bicycle went down in the roadway. Paramedics responded and Sergio Chi Medina was pronounced deceased at the scene around 8:34 p.m. There was no information about the motorist involved in the crash or description of what led to the accident.
Meanwhile, an investigation is underway by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department. Finally, witnesses should contact the sheriff’s department.
