One Dead, Three Injured in 2-Vehicle Crash
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Dec. 28, 2023) – Sergio Bernal Rubio, 34, has been identified as the man who died in a crash on Christmas night at 82nd Street and Compton Avenue in the unincorporated Florence-Firestone area of Los Angeles.
The victim was identified by the Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner. The two-vehicle crash occurred at around 10:41 p.m. Monday, Dec. 25th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Los Angeles County firefighters responded to the crash scene and located four people with major injuries, but Sergio Bernal Rubio died at the scene, the report said. Three others were transported by paramedics to Los Angeles General Medical Center.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the crash.
