Major Injury Car Accident on State Route 43
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (June 30, 2023) — A Shafter car crash happened Thursday afternoon on Highway 43 and Orange Street.
At least one person suffered injuries in the collision around 4:45 p.m. on June 30th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The drivers of a silver an and a pickup truck were involved in the collision, according to a report by KGET. The van sustained major damage and required a tow truck.
Paramedics responded and located at least one person with major injuries from the accident. The report did not mention the victim’s age, gender or identity.
The person was rushed to a hospital for further treatment. It’s unknown at this time if anyone else suffered injuries in the collision.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the Shafter crash on Highway 43.
