Turner attempted to brake and avoid the collision, but crashed into the truck’s left side and was ejected into the southbound lanes of Rancho California Road. He died of his injuries at the scene of the crash. The truck driver stopped and cooperated with the investigation.
Police issued a SigAlert following the crash.
Fatal Accident Investigation
Police are reviewing the evidence and trying to determine what happened. It appears that based on the initial report about this collision, that the truck driver may be responsible for the accident as he turned in front of the motorcycle. These facts of course are still under investigation.
