Motorcyclist Shan Quick, 51, Killed in Victorville Crash on Amethyst Road
VICTORVILLE (October 7, 2018) – A motorcycle rider was killed after a traffic collision on Amethyst Road late Friday night, according to Victor Valley News.
San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department identified the victim as 51-year-old Shan Dee Quick, of Victorville.
As per the reports, officials said Quick was pushing his disabled 1985 Honda VF1100C Magna V65 in the No. 1 northbound lane of Amethyst Road when he was struck by a 2003 Toyota Avalon.

The Avalon was traveling north in the same lane of the road when it hit the man and his bike.
Quick was pronounced deceased at the scene. The collision was reported in the 13000 block of Amethyst Road at about 10:30 p.m., just north of Liberty Park in front of the San Bernardino County Fire Station.
Meanwhile, the driver of the car involved stopped and cooperated with the authorities. The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
