Major Injury Collision on State Route 41 Thursday
Shandon, CA (November 11, 2021) – At least one person suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on State Route 41 Thursday afternoon.
The California Highway Patrol group reported a motorcycle rider crashed while traveling on the highway in Shandon. Initial records indicated the motorcyclist came to a stop on the right hand shoulder of the highway; in the area near mile marker 47.
CHP logged the case at about 12:09 p.m.

When emergency crews arrived at the location, they found at least one person with injuries. Our sources indicated paramedics transported the patient to the hospital for treatment and further evaluation. Pending confirmation, the name of the injured party remained undisclosed.
Several factors surrounding the collision have not been discussed thus far. At this time, detectives continue to investigate exactly how and why the motorcycle accident on State Route 41 in Shandon happened.
