Shane Ramirez, 34, Killed in Pearblossom Pedestrian Crash on State Route 138
PEARBLOSSOM, CA (June 9, 2021) – Shane Ramirez was killed after a pedestrian accident on State Route 138 in Pearblossom.
The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office identified the 34-year-old Pearblossom man as the victim of the fatal crash which occurred on Monday.
The incident happened when Shane Ramirez was walking northbound across State Route 138 in Pearblossom. At the same time, Jerry Matthew Tate was driving west.
The California Highway Patrol said the 22-year-old Palmdale man did not see the pedestrian due to the poor lighting conditions in the area.

In the process, his 2008 Saturn Aura then struck the victim, west of 121st Street East. The Antelope Valley Times and My News LA wrote that the accident took place on June 7 at around 9:34 p.m.
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and soon found Shane Ramirez lying on the ground as a result of the pedestrian collision. They pronounced him dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that Jerry Tate stopped following the crash. He stayed at the site and cooperated with the officers.
The cause of the fatal Pearblossom pedestrian accident is still under investigation.
