Shane Stugis, 32; and Levi Miller, 19, Killed in Yuba City Head-On Crash
YUBA CITY (October 8, 2018) – Two people who were killed after a traffic collision involving a truck along Highway 99 on Monday morning have been identified, according to The Sacramento Bee.
Sutter County Sheriff’s Office named the deceased victims as 32-year-old Shane Scott Stugis and 19-year-old Levi Allen Miller. Both were Yuba City residents.
As per the article, California Highway Patrol said 49-year-old Victoriano Sepulveda was operating a 2019 Freightliner bobtail north on Highway 99 approaching Sacramento Avenue when for an unknown reason he veered into the No. 1 lane on the southbound highway.

At the same time, Stugis was driving a 2016 Ford F-150 with Miller in the front seat and two other parties in the back seat. The two vehicles ultimately collided head-on just after 6 a.m.
CHP affirmed that Stugis and Miller died as a result of the crash. The other two occupants of the pickup were apparently unharmed in the wreck.
Meanwhile, the bobtail ended up in the No. 2 southbound lane of Highway 99 where its rear was hit by a 1996 Toyota pickup. The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
