Shannon Eldridge, 51, Injured in Tuolumne County Crash on La Grange Road
TUOLUMNE COUNTY, CA (June 7, 2021) – Shannon Eldridge was injured after a car crash on La Grange Road in Tuolumne County.
The California Highway Patrol identified the 51-year-old Auberry woman as one of victims of the accident on Saturday afternoon.
The incident began when Shannon Leann Eldridge was driving a 2017 Ford F350 south on La Grange Road in Tuolumne County. At the same time, Ricky Andrew Haines was going north.
For an unknown reason, the 48-year-old Oakdale man crossed over the double yellow lines and went into the path of the pickup truck. In the process, his 2008 Toyota Camry hit the Ford head-on.
Elderly Couple Hurt in Collision Near Paseo Seven Legends
CHP said the two cars collided north of Paseo Seven Legends. The Union Democrat and My Mother Lode wrote that the wreck took place on June 5 at about 4:27 p.m.
Shannon Eldridge and her two elderly passengers sustained minor injuries as a result of the crash. Paramedics treated her at the site. The other two were rushed to the Adventist Health Sonora for further aid.
Meanwhile, Ricky Haines ended up suffering from major injuries following the collision. An air ambulance took him to the Doctor’s Medical Center in Modesto for treatment.
Meanwhile, CHP shut down a portion of La Grange Road following the wreck. Authorities are still determining the cause of the Tuolumne County crash.
