2-Vehicle Crash at Ponderosa Way and Aldridge Road
SHASTA COUNTY, Calif. (Oct. 5, 2021) — A Shasta County head-on crash at Ponderosa Way and Aldridge Road happened about 11:43 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 5th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Two vehicles described as a black car and a brown car collided when one veered into the path of the other one, police said. Both vehicles suffered major front-end damage in the head-on crash.
Paramedics with the Shasta County Fire Department responded due to major injuries following the collision. However, police did not mention the total number of people injured in the collision. Also, the CHP did not mention the age and genders of the drivers.
Meanwhile, there was a medium-sized dog in the black vehicle that may have been hurt too. Shasta County Animal Control was called to respond.
Investigators seek to determine fault for the two-vehicle Shasta County head-on crash.
