SAN ANDREAS (September 18, 2019) – An alleged hit-and-run crash possibly injured a driver along Highway 49 on Wednesday morning.
The California Highway Patrol identified the victim as 35-year-old Sheanna Casillas, a resident of Valley Springs.
According to an article written by My Mother Lode, Casillas was driving a 2016 Acura north on Highway 49 when she was struck by a 2019 Dodge Ram.
The Dodge was traveling in the same direction when its driver, 25-year-old Ashonti Thomas, allegedly passed over double-yellow lines around the Acura.

Oncoming traffic reportedly veered to the right at the same time Thomas did. The Dodge then hit the Acura. The accident occurred just after 6:30 a.m., north of Howell Road.
Paramedics responded to the scene and attended to Casillas who apparently suffered unspecified injuries. Her condition at the moment was not immediately released.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that Thomas stopped briefly following the wreck but ultimately continued north on the highway.
The Yorba Linda man was later located, arrested and booked under the misdemeanor section for hit-and-run. The investigation is ongoing.
