Shelby Brady, 49, Killed in Santa Barbara Pedestrian Crash on Las Positas
SANTA BARBARA, CA (November 5, 2021) – Shelby Brady was killed after a pedestrian crash on Las Positas Road in Santa Barbara.
The coroner’s office identified the 49-year-old Santa Barbara woman as the victim of the fatal collision which took place on Thursday.
The incident happened when a large pickup truck hit Shelby Catherine Brady for an unknown reason in Santa Barbara. Police said the car struck her on northbound Las Positas Road near Stanley Drive.

Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and then found the victim lying on the ground. She ended up suffering from serious injuries due to the impact.
Shelby Brady died as a result of the pedestrian crash. The KSBY News and Noozhawk News wrote that the accident occurred on November 4 at about 6:30 p.m.
Meanwhile, police affirmed that the driver of the pickup truck stopped and stayed at the site following the collision. The cause of the pedestrian incident is still under investigation.
Officers forced a portion of Las Positas Road to shut down between Stanley Drive and McCaw Avenue for several hours after the accident.
