Tehachapi Woman Killed in 2-Vehicle Crash on Highway 58
TEHACHAPI, Calif. (June 8, 2021) — Sheree Fishgold, 62, of Tehachapi, died Sunday night in a two-vehicle collision on Highway 58 in Tehachapi.
Additionally, the crash happened about 11:15 p.m. on June 6th near Broome Road. The victim was identified by the Kern County Sheriff’s Office.
The woman died in a collision with a vehicle whose driver failed to pull over for a traffic stop for police and fled through the Tehachapi area.
Passenger Killed Highway 58 Crash
The suspect reportedly collided with an eastbound vehicle that Sheree Fishgold was riding in as a passenger. She suffered fatal injuries in the collision and died on scene.
Meanwhile, both drivers suffered major injuries due to the collision. Paramedics transported the injured to a hospital.
Finally, police continue to investigate the crash to determine liability for the death of Sheree Fishgold.
