Woman Struck, Injured in Hit-and-run Collision
SAN DIEGO, Calif. (August 17, 2021) — A Sherman Heights hit-and-run pedestrian accident happened early Tuesday morning on G Street in San Diego County.
The driver struck a woman as she crossed in the 2100 block of G Street about 2:15 a.m. on August 17th, according to the San Diego Police Department.
The woman suffered a broken femur and was transported to a hospital. Meanwhile, the driver fled the scene without stopping to help the injured woman, according to ABC 10 News San Diego.
San Diego Police are searching for a vehicle that struck a woman as she crossed a Sherman Heights street and left the scene early Tuesday morning.
Paramedics transported the woman to a hospital for treatment of a broken femur. The name and age of the victim is unknown at this time.
Finally, police did not release a description of the Sherman Heights hit-and-run vehicle.
