Multi-Vehicle Sherman Oaks Crash
SHERMAN OAKS, Calif. (April 16, 2021) — A Sherman Oaks crash happened on the 405 Freeway Friday, just north of the 101 Freeway.
The California Highway Patrol reports the crash happened about 11:32 a.m. between a black Tesla, a white Chevrolet pickup truck and a silver Lexus sedan.
Additionally, the vehicles blocked traffic lanes and the Tesla was disabled in the No. 1 lane. Police have not indicated what led up to the collision, but it appears to have been a chain-reaction collision, the report said.
Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to help at l hurt in the Sherman Oaks crash on the 405 Freeway.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the crash. It’s unknown if speed was a factor or if there were any citations.
The busy Interstate 405 Freeway at the 101 Freeway interchange is a known hot sport for collisions.
