Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-405 Freeway in Sherman Oaks
SHERMAN OAKS, Calif. (Oct. 20, 2022) — A multi-vehicle car accident happened Thursday morning on the northbound Interstate 405 Freeway, near the connector to the Ventura 101 Freeway.
The collision occurred about 1:37 a.m. on Oct. 20th, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The drivers involved include a black Lexus, a gray GMC Terrain SUV, a black Toyota Camry sedan, and a silver Nissan Sentra. They blocked the fast lane, HOV and No. 2 lanes after the crash.
Paramedics with the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to help those hurt in the crash. They located one person unconscious from the collision.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed a couple of the damaged vehicles from the freeway including the Nissan with moderate front-end damage.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault.
