Motorcyclist Injured in Collision on the Interstate 405 Freeway
SHERMAN OAKS, Calif. (Dec. 2, 2024) — A motorcyclist and two other vehicles were involved in a crash on the southbound 405 Freeway Monday afternoon in Sherman Oaks.
The three-vehicle collision occurred around 12:37 p.m. on Dec. 2nd, just south of Valley Vista boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the motorcyclist and a black Audi SUV with Georgia license plates collided in the HOV lane with a third motorist in a blue vehicle.
The rider managed to get up and walk away from the crash, but was treated for undisclosed injuries by arriving Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics.
A tow truck removed the damaged bike from the freeway and investigators are working to determine fault for the motorcycle accident on the 405 Freeway in Sherman Oaks.
