Woman, 66, Killed in Crash with Semi-Truck
LANCASTER, Calif. (April 30, 2024) — Sherril Del Rosso, 66, died in a Lancaster crash involving a big rig truck Tuesday morning at 90th Street West and West Avenue D.
The two-vehicle collision occurred at around 7:22 a.m. on April 30th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The woman was driving or a passenger in a sedan that collided with the truck. CHP officials issued a SigAlert for at least two hours after the fatality collision and closed down the southbound lanes of West 90th Street at Avenue A.
Authorities reported the truck driver and sedan collided due to unknown circumstances.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded and confirmed at least one person dead at the scene, but there are no further details.
