Major Injury Collision on El Dorado Freeway Sunday
Shingle Springs, CA (August 22, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a car accident that occurred on U.S. Route 50, also known as El Dorado Freeway.
On Sunday, a car crash took place in the westbound side of El Dorado (50) Freeway near Cameron Park Drive. The description of the vehicle involved in the collision have not been revealed thus far.
Emergency teams arrived at the crash site shortly after 12:50 a.m. First responders reportedly found a 4-year-old running on the right-hand shoulder of the freeway.
At Least 1 Badly Hurt in Shingle Springs Car Accident, August 22
Responding paramedics immediately rendered aid to all possible victims in the wreck. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed at least one person suffered major injuries from the incident.
Additional details on the wreck have not been discussed thus far.
At this time, investigators continue to work to determine the exactly how and why the car accident in Shingle Springs happened.
