At Least 1 Badly Hurt in Collision on Highway 44 Sunday
Shingletown, CA (November 8, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a car accident that occurred on State Route Highway 44 Sunday morning.
Initial records indicated a white Ford F-250 veered off the roadway while traveling in the area of Lassen Volcanic National Park. Officials said the pickup truck ended up slamming into a tree on the highway in Shingletown.
Shortly after 11:01 a.m., emergency crews arrived at the location. First responders found the Ford F-250 pulling a 60 feet dual axle trailer.

Paramedics rendered aid to all parties involved in the wreck. After the evaluation, medical personnel confirmed one person suffered major injuries including a broken leg. An ambulance transported the patient to the hospital for treatment and further evaluation.
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole morning. They continue to investigate the precise cause of the car accident on State Route 44 in Shingletown.
