Pedestrian Killed by Semi-Tractor Trailer Truck ID’d

PALMDALE, Calif. (June 8, 2023) – Shomari Rollox died in a pedestrian accident involving a truck on the Antelope Valley 14 Freeway in Palmdale.

The California Highway Patrol reported the pedestrian accident took place around 5 p.m. on Tuesday, June 6th.

The collision occurred just north of Avenue N due to unknown circumstances, according to MyNewsLA.

It’s unknown what led up to the deadly accident, but drugs and or alcohol were not suspected.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner identified Shomari Rollox as the person who died.

The case remains under investigation. Witnesses are asked to call Officer J. Alvares at the Antelope Valley Area CHP office at 661-948-8541.
