Sidney Falbo, 20, Killed in Bike Crash at Stony Point and Highway 12
SANTA ROSA (October 31, 2018) – A bicyclist killed after a traffic collision in the area of Stony Point Road and Highway 12 Tuesday has been identified as Sidney Falbo, according to The Press Democrat.
The 20-year-old Santa Rosa woman was a victim of the tragic accident which occurred at 12:25 p.m. near the Joe Rodota Trail.
As per the article, police said Falbo was riding a bicycle north on the sidewalk along the west side of Stony Point Road when she then headed east and apparently made a right turn from the sidewalk into the crosswalk.

Falbo was then hit by a dump truck which was loaded with thousands of pounds of dirt. She was run over and became pinned underneath the right rear tires of the 10-wheeled vehicle. She died at the scene.
Meanwhile, the operator of the truck, 58-year-old Donald Parisi, stopped after the crash and cooperated with the authorities.
Initial reports indicated that the Sonoma man was on the off-ramp of eastbound Highway 12 waiting for the green light before executing a southbound turn and hitting the cyclist. The incident remains under investigation.
