At Least 1 Hurt in 2-Vehicle Collision at Hoover Street and Burns Avenue Sunday
Silver Lake, CA (June 20, 2021) – A car accident occurred Sunday evening in the area of Hoover Street and Burns Avenue.
According to ABC7 News, an SUV collided with Prius at the intersection in Silver Lake. The force from the impact caused the SUV to careen across all the lanes of the roadway.
The SUV came to a rest after hitting a utility pole and a fire hydrant. Primary reports indicated the incident sheared off the fire hydrant at the crossing of Hoover Street and Burns Avenue.
Minor Injury Car Accident in Silver Lake, June 20
When emergency teams arrived at the site, they found the drivers of the SUV and the Prius both shaken. Paramedics evaluated the two motorists at the scene, and later determined both suffered minor injuries.
Additional details on the crash have not been revealed thus far. Investigators continue to work at this time to determine the precise cause of the car accident in Silver Lake.
