SIMI VALLEY, California (May 8, 2016) – David Miller, 24, of Simi Valley, has been identified as the man killed in a head-on collision Sunday morning which also left another man with serious injuries on Long Canyon Drive, according to the VC Star.
The accident happened at around 10:40 a.m.
Preliminary reports state that a Toyota Prius and a Ford F-150 were traveling in their respective lanes when one of the vehicles crossed into oncoming traffic triggering a head-on collision.
Per the Ventura County Star, David Miller suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. He has not yet been properly identified at this time.
The other victim, a 57-year-old man, was seriously injured and rushed to Los Robles Hospital. His injuries consist of head trauma as well as injuries to his arm and pelvis.
At this time, the investigation remains ongoing as liability remains uncertain as police determine which motorists triggered the collision.
