Man, 40, Struck by Suspected Hit-and-Run Driver at Hartley and Hollister
SIMI VALLEY (July 10, 2018) – A 40-year-old man was injured in a hit-and-run accident at the corner of Hartley Avenue and Hollister Street Sunday afternoon, according to KTLA News.
As per the article, the victim was getting out of a parked car in the area when eh was allegedly intentionally struck by a Toyota Camry.
Primary reports indicated the victim became pinned by the door of his car during the collision. The unidentified man suffered major injuries as a result of the incident. At this time, the name of the injured party remained unknown.
Suspect Lawrence Huhne At Large After Simi Valley Hit-and-Run
Meanwhile, officials identified the suspect as Lawrence Huhne. Investigators determined Huhne was driving a stolen Camry at the time of the accident. Furthermore, the man apparently has several outstanding felony warrants for his arrest.
Authorities continue to investigate the accident.
