Six Injured in Pomona Car Accident on Interstate 10 Freeway

One Critically Injured in Collision on the I-10 Freeway in Pomona

POMONA, Calif. (June 4, 2026) – Six people were injured in a multi-vehicle car accident early Wednesday on the Interstate 10 Freeway in the Pomona area.

The traffic accident occurred around 4:55 a.m. on June 3rd on the westbound side of the San Bernardino Freeway, just east of the Orange (57) Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Five lanes including the carpool lane were closed down and crews from the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to help those injured.

All six people were transported to hospitals by ambulances.

The cause of the collision and liability are under investigation.
